A legend reborn in shadow and flame…

The adventurers stood at the gates of ruin. The air grew colder. Then—he stepped forth. Spiked armour glinting, Nightflame in hand, and eyes that blazed with an infernal hunger.

Warduke.

An icon of dark fantasy and old-school menace, this figure is the ultimate centrepiece for your tabletop—whether as a terrifying boss, a cursed antihero, or the black-hearted villain of your next campaign arc. Designed for clarity, ease of painting, and maximum presence, Warduke is not just a miniature. He’s a statement.

🎨 Painter’s Notes

Warduke’s sculpt reads cleanly from tabletop distance but rewards close-up detail painting. No wasted micro-detail—only purposeful surfaces and bold contours for:

  • Powerful OSL (object source lighting) from Nightflame

  • Chiaroscuro shading from the horned helm and cloak

  • Customisable freehand zones on the cape and blade

Great for NMM, lava blades, or corrupted magical effects.

😈 Lore Snapshot

The adventurers stood in the shadow of the ancient fortress, a chill running down their spines as Warduke emerged from the darkness. Clad in his spiked armor, his glowing red eyes bore down on them with a malevolent intensity. His massive sword, Nightflame, pulsed with an eerie blue light, as if hungry for the blood of those who dared oppose him. The air crackled with tension as he pointed the blade at the party, a cruel grin stretching across his face.

The wizard raised her staff, muttering incantations, while the rogue slipped into the shadows, daggers drawn. The barbarian let out a roar and charged forward, his axe gleaming in the moonlight. Warduke moved with terrifying speed, meeting the attack with a single, devastating swing. Sparks flew as metal met metal, and the ground trembled beneath the impact. The fighter moved in from the flank, trying to find an opening, but Warduke's movements were precise, a dance of death honed over countless battles.

The cleric called upon divine magic, a shield of light forming around the party. But Warduke's relentless onslaught pushed them back, his strikes growing fiercer with each clash. The party realized they were not just facing a warrior; they were facing a force of unyielding will and malevolence, a true embodiment of chaos and destruction. This would be a fight for their very souls, and Warduke showed no mercy.

🧙♂️ Use Him As...

  • D&D BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy) in a mid- to high-level campaign

  • Solo Skirmish Boss in your own fantasy game system

  • Dark Antihero—perhaps even a redemption arc?

  • Tactical Wargame Leader Unit with heavy melee and fear effects

🩸 Traits

Unholy Resilience. Warduke’s armour is bound to him by a soul pact. He adds his Charisma modifier to saving throws vs. spells and can’t be disarmed or knocked prone while conscious.

Aura of Dread (30 ft.). Enemies within 30 feet that start their turn in the aura must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the start of their next turn. On a successful save, they are immune to the aura for 24 hours.

Nightflame. Warduke’s greatsword is a sentient, cursed weapon. It deals an additional 2d6 fire damage on hit. If he reduces a creature to 0 HP, Nightflame absorbs the soul, granting Warduke 15 temporary HP and causing the area within 10 ft. to erupt in dim blue flame until the end of his next turn.

🔥 Actions

Multiattack. Warduke makes three melee attacks with Nightflame.

Nightflame. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 17 (2d6 + 5 slashing + 2d6 fire) damage. If the target is frightened, it takes an additional 2d6 necrotic damage.

Unstoppable Onslaught (Recharge 5–6). Warduke surges forward in a blur of violence. He moves up to his speed without provoking opportunity attacks and makes one Nightflame attack against each creature he moves past (max 5).

👿 Legendary Actions (3/round)

Shadow Step. Warduke teleports up to 30 ft. to a space he can see in dim light or darkness.
Nightmare Cleave. Warduke makes a single Nightflame attack. If it hits, the target must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be stunned until the start of their next turn.
Aura Flare (Costs 2 Actions). His eyes ignite and his dread aura pulses. All enemies within the aura must reroll any successful save against fear effects.

🧠 Tactics and Flavour

Warduke is not a talker. He opens with Unstoppable Onslaught to break ranks, then targets frightened opponents or spellcasters. He uses Nightflame’s temporary HP to stay in the fray longer than expected, teleporting out only to reposition for another strike.

If the party tries to flee or cast sanctuary-style protections, he counteracts them with fear, cleaves, and battlefield movement. His kit is designed to break both morale and formation.

Shipping & Returns

Production and Shipping

Please note that all orders placed through this UK website are produced at and shipped from Lion Tower Miniatures Limited (Trading as The Lions Tower), located in Solihull, UK.

We are not currently registered for VAT so there should be none to pay on any orders whether UK or international.

Production

STL files and other digital products are already loaded into the product, and once added to your basket and paid for, will be added to your library.  Please ensure that you use a registered account in order that you can come back to download the products when you need to.

All of our physical products are 3D printed to order on a first-come-first-served basis.  Please allow up to 10 working days for us to process your order. During busy periods this may be a little longer but you will be kept up to date on progress.

Prints are carried out on a resin 3D printer with a <25 micron XY pixel resolution, and printed at 0.25mm layer height.  This ensures the best possible quality for you.

Our resin of choice is Phrozen Aqua 4K - it is fantastic for picking up the detail on the miniatures and has enough flexibility once fully cured to be robust enough for regular handling and gaming.

The printed models are thoroughly cleaned to remove any excess resin from the surface and all support material is removed* and the model is quality inspected to ensure that it meets our high standards.  They are then cured so they are safe for you to handle.

Some of our models may be supplied in multiple parts, and all are supplied with a separate base.  Simply test fit the parts dry so that you know how the model assembles, and then use superglue to fix the components together.  After holding the parts together for a few seconds, the glue should have cured and the parts will be fixed securely.

The resin we use for 3D printing is UV curing, so exposure to UV light is what turns it from a liquid into a solid.  We supply the models perfectly cured and cleaned, ready to paint and game with.  Exposure to sunlight may continue to cure the resin resulting in a more brittle finish.  To preserve the flexibility of the models, please paint them as soon as possible - even a simple coat of primer is enough to block the sunlight and prevent excess curing.

*There may be some fine micro supports around the miniature but these can be quickly and easily removed using a scalpel or hobby knife.
